THE PARLIAMENTARIAN
Description of Components

The PARLIAMENTARIAN Speaker Recognition System consists of a Master Control station and from 4 to 30 Request Modules.

The system comes to you complete with all interconnection cables.  Just plug them into the 4-condoctor modular jacks located on the end of the Power Supply.  The Power Supply output is only 5 volts, so the cables do not require conduit.  System installation is so simple that virtually anyone can do it.

MASTER CONTROL

The Master Control Module has three push button switches across the top for turning the system ON and OFF, for advancing the Request Queue and to reset the system for a new sequence.  Below these switches are three LED Numeric Displays marked NEXT, SECOND and THIRD.  These two digit displays show the numeric seating position of the first three Requesters in the queue.  The lower half of the module has a Field Directory showing the names and the numeric seating position of all persons having a Request Module.  The red LED opposite each name illuminates when the Requester makes a request for recognitionThe red LED opposite the "NEXT" person will blink until recognized at which time it will go out.

REQUEST MODULES

The Request Modules are a small cell phone sized hand held unit.  At the top there is an LED Numeric Display.  This two digit display shows each holder their numeric position in the request queue and continuously counts down as speakers are recognized.  Below the display are the REQUEST and CANCEL push buttons.  Pressing the Cancel Button will remove the Requester from the queue and those behind will then advance.  Making a new request will not regain the original position but will add such request to the end of the queue.

Each Request module is labeled with a number which represents the numeric seating position that will be shown on the Control module.

POWER SUPPLY

The POWER SUPPLY is a 6" x 7" x 2" Module with a bank of modular jacks on one end which receive the 4 conductor modular cables from all the other components.  It is mounted on the under side of the Dias near a 110VAC outlet and supplies the 5 volt power which drives the system.
